Povestea incredibilă a femeii care și-a „furat” înapoi mașina de la hoți

În mod normal, când descoperi că mașina ți-a fost furată, contactezi Poliția și îi lași pe oamenii legii să se ocupe de caz, în speranța că îți vor recupera vehiculul înainte ca acesta să fie exportat sau dezmembrat. O femeie din Kansas City, Missouri (SUA) nu a avut răbdare să lase sarcina în mâinile autorităților, așa că i-a „vânat’ pe hoți de una singură și a reușit să își „fure’ înapoi mașina, chiar de sub nasul lor!

În seara de 9 iulie, Danielle Reno a plecat cu mașina în oraș pentru a-și lua fata de la un magazin și a o conduce înapoi acasă. La numai câteva secunde după ce a coborât din Toyota 4Runner pentru a se întâlni cu fiica, femeia a văzut cum trei persoane se urcă în mașina ei și dispar instantaneu.

Danielle a apucat să-i zărească pe hoți – două femei și un bărbat -, astfel că le-a putut oferi detalii precise polițiștilor, dar și internauților, cărora le-a cerut ajutor în Social Media.

Proprietara își lăsase telefonul mobil și cardurile de debit în mașină, așa că a putut începe pe cont propriu munca de detectiv. Descoperind că infractorii chiar îi foloseau cardurile pentru a cumpăra alcool, tutun și combustibil, Danielle Reno a pornit pe urmele lor, însoțită de sora ei.

Sosite la o benzinărie de unde hoții tocmai alimentaseră folosind un card de debit furat, femeile au aflat de la un angajat următoarea destinație a infractorilor: aceștia fuseseră auziți spunând că vor merge la un restaurant Applebees.

Fiind vorba despre o franciză, în zonă existau mai multe filiale unde aceștia se puteau îndrepta. Pentru a-și spori șansele de succes, Danielle și sora ei s-au despărțit, fiecare vizitând câte un restaurant diferit. Din păcate, nu au avut noroc.

„Detectivul’ însă nu era pregătit să renunțe, fiind atât de aproape de a-și recupera Toyota 4Runner. A mers într-un al treilea restaurant Applebee’s din apropiere, unde chiar a avut norocul să-i găsească pe hoți.

Înarmată cu cheia de rezervă a mașinii, Danielle și-a găsit autoturismul în parcarea localului și s-a urcat la volan, gonind cât mai departe posibil. Înainte să sune la poliție pentru a anunța poziția hoților, femeia și-a făcut timp să posteze pe Facebook un video în care povestește ceea ce tocmai se întâmplase. Da, a filmat în timp ce conducea, lucru total nerecomandat.

Ulterior, polițiștii i-au arestat pe cei trei infractori când aceștia intenționau să facă alte cumpărături la un magazin, folosind același card de debit furat de la Danielle. Proprietara mașinii a asistat la întreaga intervenție, confirmând oamenilor legii că au prins pe cine trebuie.

Din câte povestește „eroina’, cei care i-au furat mașina au transformat-o în cocină, habitaclul fiind plin de gunoaie și chiar de fluide corporale. Aceasta refuză să o mai conducă vreodată, iar acum așteaptă ca firma de asigurări auto să o despăgubească.

Subliniem faptul că, deși americanca și-a îndeplinit cu succes misiunea periculoasă, astfel de situații ar trebui lăsate în grija autorităților. Nimeni nu a fost rănit, dar acest lucru s-ar fi putut întâmpla, cu siguranță.

Video 1- I stole my car back’ So after my car was stolen on Tuesday night from Quick Trip off of 152 and North Oak, I filed a police report. We tracked my phone to 169 S and then it was shut off. I watched the surveillance tape but they wouldnt let me record it so I engraved it in my brain. That night at 1:30am my Unleashed card was used at Taco Bell on Parvin for $14. At 6:32am my Unleashed card was used at BP right by 291 in Independence for $20 for gas. That owner remembered her and let me take a video of the surveillance video. My personal debit was attempted at Walmart.com and declined. I shut off the Unleashed card, my personal debit, and my personal credit card. Last night at 8pm, my phone was turned back on and located in KCMO. We went there and talked to the people who both admitted to seeing my car, knew the color of it, said the person was just visiting’, and then it got weird. I called the cops but when they got there, the people told them I didnt know what I was talking about. Long story short, KCPD left. Then today, I decided to turn my credit card back on to see how stupid this girl was. She used my card an hour later at the Conoco/Phillips 66 off 210 and 435 to buy beer, cigarettes, and gas. We drove there and talked to the manager who was actually the one who helped them. He couldnt show me the surveillance but confirmed it was the same girl and said she had another girl with her. An attendant overheard us and told me she heard the girl say something about going to Applebees. I had my sister go to the one in Zona. We went to the one in Gladstone. No sign. We then went to the one in Independence no sign. So we decided to go back to the one in Gladstone and post up. We just had a gut feeling. We order our food and got our waters. Two seconds later, 3 trashy people walk in. I recognized her from the surveillance videos. I was shaking! I grabbed my spare key and went outside and found my car. This video is what happened next. Savannah G-love Dean stayed at the Applebees and followed them so we knew where to tell the police they went.
